A working class candidate who fights for their neighbors

Where I've been

Where I am going

Where I am going

I came up in a union household by a mechanic and a hairdresser, where I learned the values of hard work, integrity, and community. I moved to Henderson in 1994 and have watched it grow into the vibrant city it is today. From attending Fay Galloway Elementary to being part of Foothill High’s first graduating class, and later earning degrees at UNLV—including a Master’s in Healthcare Administration—I’ve always strived for excellence and service.

For over a decade, I’ve worked in healthcare, advocating for compassionate, equitable care. My experience as a federally contracted caseworker showed me just how broken our healthcare system is and deepened my commitment to fighting for justice and reform.

Through grassroots organizing, I found my voice as a champion for working families and underserved communities. I’ve seen the power of people coming together to create real change—and I know that when every voice is heard, we all thrive.

That’s why I’m running for Assembly District 22. I want to ensure that every neighbor is seen, every concern is addressed, and every opportunity is within reach. I’m a working class candidate—and I respectfully ask for your support to help build a better, fairer future for all of us.

Issues

Getting money and corruption out of politics

I believe our representatives should come from and understand the struggles of the working class. When millionaires and billionaires control our government, everyday people are left behind. That’s why I’ve long advocated for overturning Citizens United—the Supreme Court decision that equates money with free speech. I’m committed to rejecting dark money and refusing contributions from groups whose interests don’t align with improving the lives of everyday Nevadans.

Healthcare

I believe healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Despite spending more per person than any other modern nation, the U.S. healthcare system delivers poorer outcomes due to profit-driven care, a shortage of providers, and a lack of mental health support. As with our education system, resources often go to top executives while essential workers struggle. That’s why I’ve been advocating for Medicare for All since 2017.

Education

Trump and Musk have cut billions in funding for under-resourced schools across the country—putting the 70% of Clark County School District campuses eligible for Title I support directly in this administration’s crosshairs. These cuts don’t just hurt students; they undermine the foundation of public education. I fully support increased funding for public schools and higher wages for teachers. Educators should be able to enter the profession with confidence, not fear that their wages will be too low to make ends meet.

Immigration

Immigrants are vital to our communities and economy, yet our current system relies on harmful, punitive tactics. No child should fear going to school, and no law-abiding resident should fear daily life. We need humane paths to citizenship, a fair asylum process, and immigration policies that respect our constitutionally guaranteed due process and dignity.

Dignity for our Veterans

Veterans in our community have made tremendous sacrifices in service to our country—and they deserve proper care and support when they come home. After more than a decade of working with senior veterans, I know we can and must do better. Mass layoffs at the VA and skyrocketing wait times for the Veterans Crisis Line are unacceptable. We cannot abandon our heroes under the excuse of cutting “waste, fraud, and abuse.”
